Information from the City of Pearland
There is NOT an evacuation order in place for the City of Pearland and given the current road conditions, we do not anticipate issuing an evacuation order. Residents should stay in their homes if they can safely.  Residents who have already evacuated, should stay in their safe location until they receive information from City officials regarding the safety of driving on Pearland roads.

We have also received a number questions regarding our drinking water. The drinking water in Pearland is safe to drink. The potable water system has not been impacted.
The City of Pearland is aware of floodwater on your streets and in your home. They are actively working on issues, prioritizing life safety matters. Like the entire region, we have experienced a tremendous amount of intense rain throughout Pearland with the effect of our streets and drainage channels having an overabundance of water in them. We are aware of streets that are impassable and continue to ask people to stay inside and shelter in place, unless absolutely necessary otherwise.
